FAQs
How do I schedule a session?
I’m looking forward to connecting with you! Please fill out the contact form found [here].
What is your cancellation policy?
The time scheduled for your therapy is reserved exclusively for you. FCS has a 48-hour reschedule/cancellation policy. Reschedule requests or cancellations within 48-hours of the scheduled appointment time, including unattended appointments (“no show, no notice”), will result in a $75 charge. If you are late for a session by 15 minutes or more, you may be asked to reschedule.
Do you offer sliding-scale rates?
FCS offers a limited number of sliding scale spots dependent on financial need. If I am unable to offer you a sliding scale spot, I can offer referrals to other clinicians who may fit your financial needs. ** At this time, all sliding scale spots are full.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. I am currently considered out-of-network with all other insurance companies. You may be eligible to use your out-of-network benefits. I am happy to provide you with a “superbill” for your services. A superbill is an itemized form that is used to create a healthcare claim, which you can then submit for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider.
Do you offer medication management?
No, FCS does not offer medication management. If you would like a referral for a prescribing provider, please complete the online contact form.
How long will treatment last?
The length of therapy varies and depends on your therapeutic goals. Some people prefer brief, solution-focused therapy, while others are looking for long-term therapy for complex issues and/or on-going support. We will work together to identify goals and assess progress in therapy.
